WPRP Supports Relay For Life 2025

On June 14th, members of the WPRP Team participated in the Relay For Life, supporting the American Cancer Society as part of our Giving Back to the Community initiative.

Team member Linda Smith shared, “For me, this wasn’t just a walk—it was a way to honor survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and stand with the fighters.”

Planting Roots on Arbor Day

At WPRP, we don’t just move pallets—we plant roots. In celebration of Arbor Day, our team took some time to give back to the earth by planting three new trees at our East Stroudsburg facility.

Salvation Army Food Drive

WPRP is thankful for the local Salvation Army Food Pantry! They help our community in times of crisis including food insecurity. This initiative reminds us that even the smallest acts of kindness can have a big impact on our community.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

WPRP is an avid supporter of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. From decorating the office to rocking our shirts, we try to go the extra mile to bring more attention to this important cause.

2024 Walk To End Alzheimers

The crew at WPRP was fortunate enough to partake in the annual Walk to End Alzheimers in PA this year. The Alzhimers Associaton hosts multiple walks and fundraising events nationwide to raise awareness and support for the cause.

Safe Monroe

Safe Monroe is a private, non-profit corporation that provides a safe and caring environment that encourages healng and empowerment for anyone whose life has been impacted by abuse.  They strive to engage the community through awareness, advocacy and prevention.  We were thrilled to do our part.

The United Way Day of Caring

On September 11th, 2024, we had the privilege of volunteering at The United Way Day of Caring. In 2019, United Way of Monroe County and Pocono Alliance formally merged to become the Pocono Mountains United Way, in an effort to better assist individuals and families in need in Monroe County through increased collaboration, efficiency and impact.

WPRP sponsored the American Cancer Society’s Greater Pocono Area Relay for Life in March, May, and June of 2024. This event supports the organization’s vision to end cancer and advocates for cancer survivors, current cancer patients, and their families.

Salvation Army Food Drive

Developmental Education Services Sponsorship

The Developmental Education Services of Monroe County Inc. (DES) hosted its 1st annual cornhole tournament on October 1st, 2023! We were proud to sponsor this event and support the DES. Learn more and consider donating to support the cause!

The Pocono Mountains United Way Day of Caring happened on September 13, 2023, and our team showed up to support the cause. Learn more about the cause and consider partnering with this fantastic organization! Volunteers worked hard to clean up a Monroe County community treasure — the Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm (quietvalley.org).

Walk to End Alzheimer’s

The Alzheimer’s Association is leading the way to find a cure for Alzheimer’s and dementia. The organization hosts multiple walks and fundraising events nationwide to raise awareness and support for the cause. We are annual attendees at the Monroe County Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
