First, mixing material from different manufacturers voids the manufacturer’s warranty. Second, each manufacturer has a different length tolerance when manufacturing their pallet rack beams. Even a 1/8” difference in the length of the beam could cause issues installing the beams.

U-Channel Wire Deck is manufactured to fit roll-form beams with a step inside the beam. The U-Channel on the deck fits into the step. Flared Wire Deck is manufactured to fit box beams or structural beams that do not have a step on the beam. For more information, send us an e-mail.
Many times, the manufacturer and model number of used pallet racks aren’t available, so capacities are unavailable. In addition, used material is being paired up with different manufacturers, which voids all capacity ratings. Only new material sold as a system will have capacity ratings.

Yes! Pallet supports can be used between the wire deck channels to provide extra rigidity. The Pallet Supports will raise the wire deck to be approx 1/8” higher when resting on the beams.
