Pallet rack load capacity labels help keep your warehouse safe by ensuring forklift operators are loading the rack properly.  If capacity labels are not displayed, the rack could be overloaded and cause a failure.  It’s important to know that each component in a pallet rack system has it’s own capacity rating and varies per manufacturer.  Per the Rack Manufacturer’s Institute (RMI) Specification, all rack installations should display load plaques.  The RMI also mentions that these plaques may be required by building and safety inspectors.

There are many different ways to display load capacity labels depending on the warehouse requirements.  WPRP can help to determine your needs and provide a solution.  Here are some highlighted options:

Warehouse Location / Capacity Labels – economic or durable, freezer or
refrigerator ready, and custom colors available.

Magnetic Placard System – allows label to be removed from magnetic system and magnet to be moved easily.

Rack Placard Label Holder – allows for color coding identification and easy removal of labels as well as helps to cover marks from label scraping or forklift damage.

Making sure your customer’s warehouse is safe is a top priority.  Capacity labels are an easy way to help ensure this.
