The MHEDA Culture That Rocks Convention and Exhibitors’ Showcase

MHEDA ConventionThe MHEDA Convention held in SanAntonio, TX from April 18-22, was action packed from start to finish! Starting with pre-registration events all the way through the farewell breakfast, there wasn’t a minute to spare and with such a busy schedule of events, planning and keeping organized was the only way to make it all work. MHEDA had the perfect solution in the MHEDA15 conference app. This official conference app was key to getting the most out the event experience. The app allowed for building a personal schedule with reminders of all scheduled events, it offered lists of both attendees and exhibitors, social media capabilities and could even sync with your personal calendar. This was the first time MHEDA has rolled out an app for their convention and it proved to be an invaluable tool for busy convention attendees!

Mheda Emerging LeadersThe Emerging Leaders reception on Saturday was a great time to network and welcome new comers to the convention. Sunday was packed with fun events with the opportunity to walk, run or bike ride. The day ended with an opening party at Knibbe Ranch. Knibbe Ranch was founded in 1852 and is one of the few remaining Century Heritage Ranches in the State of Texas, which means the Knibbe Family has been in a continuous agricultural endeavor (cattle) for over a century. Josh Smith got a chance to meet one of those cattle in person!

WPRP Josh SmithMonday and Tuesday were jam packed with round table discussions and great educational opportunities such as The Culture that Rocks Keynote presentation featuring Jim Knight, Rock Star Selling featuring Ryan Estis and Building Next Generation Enterprises for a Next Generation Workforce featuring Seth Mattison. The workshops were fun and instructional, too. How DO They do That and Tech Tool and App Exchange by Beth Ziesenis was educational and fun – mixing things up with Nerdy BINGO and some cool shades that were part of her Animoto App presentation.
