#Apriluary
Are you familiar with Hashtags? Well indulge yourself in #Apriluary. This popular #hahstag was first introduced to us by Kyle Thill @toyotaequipment during the last Snow Storm on Friday April 12th. “Thanks Kyle!” So what does #Apriluary have to do with #April? Well it’s the combination of January and April. You could say it’s the new #April. Check out our top 5 list of what to do in a Snow Storm in the middle of April:

Fast Forward to April 22nd
Are you tired of all the snow? Want to get outside? Need some Vitamin D? Get your sleds out and go skiing. If there is snow on the ground, you can ski or sled.

Get yourself organized
So what you can’t mow the lawn. You have not even pulled out the lawn mower yet. You can’t with all this snow. So now is the time to go and pick out that Pallet Rack you have been eyeing up. Get your Garden tools, Christmas lights and ornaments up in storage bins, labeled and on the racks. Plus you can store your fertilizer on this as well.

Buy Paint
After the first snow melt, you realized last years paint job did not hold up like you thought. As you scratch your head wondering what you did wrong, watch the ads for sales on paint. Take advantage of planning ahead by buying paint for your projects that you can tackle once the snow melts.

How about a good old fashioned SnowBall Fight
When is the last time you had a good ole snowball fight? What? Forever? Get outside and throw one. You’re never too old, and it will make you laugh! or cry if you’re not looking. Take the kids out and show them how to build “The Real Frosty The Snowman”,  carrots, buttons and all.

Build a snow fort
“A snow fort or snow castle is a usually open-topped temporary structure made of snow walls that is used for recreational purposes. Snow forts are generally built by children as a playground game or winter pastime and are used as defensive structures in snowball fights. They are also built and used for make-believe games such as “house”, “store”, or “community”, a game where multiple forts are built in a group. Along with the snowman, it is one of the two structures commonly built by children out of snow.”

Lastly if you’re not into snow ball fights or building a fort, go and do some wine tastings. See what you like and don’t feel guilty for being inside. Go buy the ingredients and make a home made pizza with all the fixings you can dream of. #Apriluary can be fun if you make it, you just need to be creative and remember…We only have two seasons a year, Summer and Winter. Keep smiling. If you have ideas you would like to share, please let us know. We would like to add to our top five things to do in #Apriluary.
