Did you know Interlake Mecalux has two manufacturing plants in Illinois?  Two representatives from Wholesale Pallet Rack Products, Josh Smith and Linda Anlauf, had the excellent opportunity to tour Interlake’s plants in Pontiac IL and Melrose Park IL.  They were accompanied by Interlake’s Account Executive – Jason Sheplee, Pontiac Production Director – Bob Gualandi, and Melrose Production Director – Omar Guzman.  After touring the plants, Interlake’s Midwest Regional Manager – Mike Alcorn took the time to point out some of the highlights about Interlake and it’s capabilities.

Interlake Mecalux sells to over 70 countries, is the leading storage company in Spain and is one of North America’s largest pallet rack manufacturers.  With 11 manufacturing facilities worldwide, Interlake Mecalux is ranked third in the world.  They offer a variety of racking and shelving solutions including standard selective rack, carton flow, mobile storage systems, cantilever, automated solutions and more.  Did you know they moved their rivet shelving line back to Melrose IL?  This means less freight and more savings.

Their process is extremely efficient and allows them to keep thousands of Mecalux bolted frames and beams in stock at all times.
