Pallet Rack Abuse
This installment of #RackArt is inspired by the many abuses suffered by the Pallet Rack and this cool perspective is of a Ridg-U-Rak Column Sentry II.
Pallet Racking is a giant in our industry, yet it suffers repeated abuse. Most of the harm is committed at the row end, and commonly seen in the lower portion of the column that is 6” to 12” inches from the ground.
There is no way to completely prevent the accidental damage caused by lift truck impact, but it can be significantly reduced by using the Column Sentry II by Ridg-U-Rak. The Column Sentry II is a double-thick, double-strength box section that provides exceptional resistance to impact damage of frame columns. It is compact and space saving, while increasing the column load carrying strength.
