Tubular Column Uprights: Are constructed of closed column material. This means that the entire column is tubular and makes a solid piece construction. Many applications exist and are created with this design.
Open Back Uprights: Are constructed with an open back giving additional access to bolting hardware and the inside of the upright post. Paint coverage is more easily applied with the back being exposed.
