Say hello to Rich Wyckoff, the Warehouse Lead for WPRP’s newest Quick Ship location in East Stroudsburg, PA. Rich should feel right at home with WPRP, as he has a history in the material handling industry, makes customer service a priority and has worked with former United Steel Products and current WPRP Pallet Rack Specialists, Linda Anlauf and Jackie Marchisin.

Let’s get to know a little about Rich:

How many years have you been in the Material Handling industry?

I’ve been in the Material Handling Industry for 6 years, with 10 plus years in shipping & receiving.

What specifically did you do at USP/Excel?

I started as a truck auditor, worked from there to load designer to shipping and receiving supervisor.

How did you hear about WPRP?

I was already aware of the company (WPRP) when I saw the article in the Pocono Record and I reached out to them.

What is your role for WPRP?

Lead Shipping / Receiving / Internal Service Support.

What is the most important aspect of your job?

Safety for myself and fellow employees, making sure the job is done correctly & efficiently and our customers are satisfied.

What are the advantages to having WPRP located in Stoudsburg?

Bringing more jobs to the area and satisfying the customers on the eastern part of the states.

What do you think it takes to make an organization successful?

Team work and a lot of hard work & dedication.

What you do you do in your free time?

Spending time with my son, going to the gym and enjoying the outdoors.

Where did you grow up? If you are not local, what brought you to the area and how long have you been here?

Grew up at the Jersey Shore, family brought me here 15 years ago. I liked it so much I stayed.

What is your favorite local restaurant? And what should we order when we go there?

To many on that one I like food in general.
