Interlake Mecalux Selective Pallet Rack

Interlake Mecalux was founded almost 50 years ago in Barcelona, Spain. With a 2,150 square foot work space, Mecalux set off to produce light shelving. Due to its innovation, advanced technology and broadening of product lines, the company quickly spread across Europe and then to the United States, with the purchase of UFC Interlake Holding Co. in the US and Mexico.

Interlake Selective Pallet Rack is among the most popular racking used today. Its versatility provides many options for warehouses that carry a variety of product types. With Interlake Selective Pallet Rack, your customer has total accessibility to the product, pallets can be handled individually, and the racking can be adapted to any product volume, weight or size. These advantages make Interlake Selective a superior choice for many different applications.

Interlake Mecalux Selective Pallet Rack frames are manufactured of high-strength steel in both bolted and welded configurations and finished with a cataphoresis paint process. With this process, the frames are electro-statically emerged in epoxy paint to ensure that the paint covers every surface, providing superior protection against corrosion. The bracing and footplates are welded to the frames to provide maximum durability and resistance to twisting under load pressure. Frames are available in a wide range of capacities and can be configured for seismic zones.

Beams are roll-formed in both slotted and unslotted, with a 1- 5/8” step for holding accessories such as wire decking or pallet supports. The beams are covered with two coats of paint, then oven baked. All Interlake Selective beams are manufactured to current RMI specifications.

Perhaps the shining star of the Interlake Mecalux Selective Pallet Rack System are the end plates. Beams are connected to the frames and held in place with the Piston Lock Automatic Locking Device. This creates a secure damage and tamper resistant connection that maximizes system capacity. The device can be easily rearranged when applications are reconfigured.

Interlake Mecalux still manufactures the light duty shelving it opened its doors with in 1966.
